OBI Honduras
Patricia de Gonzales joined Operation Blessing as the Programs Manager in Honduras in 2008 after three years of helping to coordinate medical missions and distribute pharmaceuticals and medical equipment throughout the country. Her primary mission is to support hospitals and medical clinics in remote and hard-to-reach areas of the country.
To accomplish these efforts, Patricia has been working with office of the First Lady of Honduras as well as local governors and mayors. She also works with 1,400 churches of different denominations and helps coordinate their volunteers.
Patricia has also been instrumental in expanding OBI's anti-parasite campaign into Honduras, helping bring medicine and hygiene education to more than 250,000 children.
