VICE PRESIDENT, INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS & PROGRAMS
With a desire to return to hands on outreach, Rich Danzeisen became one of OBI's regional outreach and programs managers in July 2002. After excelling in this position, he was promoted to assistant director of outreach in August 2004 and then again to director of international outreach in 2005. In 2007, Rich was promoted to Vice President International Operations and Programs. Rich's responsibilities include providing guidance and support to OBI leadership internationally; directing and implementing all logistical aspects of international projects; and expanding OBI's activity and impact by cultivating partnerships with other organizations.
Before joining OBI, Rich served as Director of Networking and International Liaison for Global Harvest Ministries. During the 10-40 Window campaign, Rich helped to develop strategic networks to connect the prayer needs of major ministries and denominations, local churches in the United States and international links with ministry leaders worldwide.
Rich also has strong experience in the area of project managing. As Vice President of Ribbett New Media, Rich had oversight of six Internet projects and managed an international staff of programmers and creative talent. One project in particular, assisted another Christian relief agency’s move from a paper-based reporting system for their adopt-a-child program to an on-line reporting system that improved their effectiveness tremendously.
Growing up in the Midwest, Rich earned a Bachelors of Science from Indiana Wesleyan University in biblical literature, religion and philosophy. In 1997 he completed a Masters of Arts in biblical studies from Regent University.
After business hours, Rich is owner and president of New Horizon Interactive which develops Web sites for ministries and small businesses. He also enjoys prayer journeys, hiking, volleyball, international travel and loves spending time with his wife Lynae and their three children.
