character to face life’s challenges, through academic and esteem-building
after-school programs, provision of clothes and school supplies and other
activities designed to enhance their skills and opportunities.
When disaster strikes, Operation Blessing is there. With emergency relief
supplies, water, food and medical care, Operation Blessing teams meet urgent
needs worldwide and remain alongside disaster victims as they recover.
For adults facing poverty or unemployment, Operation Blessing provides
practical training, professional instruction and tangible tools and resources
to help struggling people overcome their situation.
Operation Blessing is waging a worldwide fight against hunger.
Through soup kitchens, school lunch programs and a growing
fleet of Hunger Strike Force trucks and local partners, hundreds
of thousands of people benefit from Operation Blessing’s
hunger relief work every year.
Breake
the cycle of water-borne suffering with new wells and helping provide adequate
water supplies with cisterns.
With an expanding resource of medicines and supplies, Operation Blessing
medical staff and volunteers provide medical and dental care free of charge
to those in need both overseas and in the U.S.
Since the devastating tsunamis struck the Southeast Asian coast on December 26, 2004, Operation Blessing teams have been at work providing medical care, food, water and emergency supplies to tens of thousands of survivors in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and Thailand. As the relief shifts into recovery, Operation Blessing remains on site, leading community rebuilding efforts throughout the region.
